We thought it would be nice to put on a mini-Halloween fun day (government COVID guidelines allowing) on Saturday October 30th at The Dog Inn. The Fun Day is from 12 noon until 4pm – FREE ENTRY – and there will a party after organsied by The Dog Inn pub from 4pm until late with more live music.
As most of you will know the Carnival needed more members even before COVID to be able to continue running. This will be the first event as a new team and a great practice for future events.
We do all of this to bring events such as the Carnival, Pensioners’ Party, Santa Sleigh Run and Christmas Kids’ Discos to the community. It would be great to see your support by popping in on the day, maybe playing a few of the games, bringing a carved pumpkin to enter into the competition and if you’re feeling brave, dress up with the kids for the fancy-dress competitions!
All of the money raised at this event will go towards putting on our future events for the community. As well as games, a raffle, live music and local business stalls selling food and Halloween themed items, there’s also a debut visit from the Witches Of Water Orton!
On the day of the event please remember to maintain a safe distance from others, avoid gathering together in large groups and please avoid touching stall holders’ items unless purchasing.<
