Water Orton Carnival’s first ever Duck Race will take place on Sunday 15th May 2016 at 4pm at the River Cole opposite the Harvester in Coleshill.
Toy ducks will be released into the river and if your duck is one of the first three into the net at the finishing line you win a cash prize! The first duck wins the ticket holder £100, 2nd wins £50 and the third wins £25.
How it works
The tickets for the race are numbered and this is your duck’s number. Tickets are £1 each or £5 for a book of 5 tickets. Don’t worry, you don’t have to be at the race, if your duck wins we will contact you by phone or email.
Where does the money go?
All proceeds from the race go towards the Golden Carnival in 2017 which will commemorate 50 consecutive years of the Carnival.
How do I buy tickets?
Tickets are available at Water Orton Library or from one of these members of our friendly Carnival Committee: Mandi Collins, Clair Galligan, Andrew Dorgan, Suzanne Ward, Emma Hulme, Sarah James, Linda Crouch, Helen Hodgins or Matt Rea.
