Calling all furbabies and their owners! Do you want to be crowned ‘best’ in class?

We know Water Orton loves its dogs, so what better way to celebrate our faithful friends than to parade them around our Dog Show Arena and be in with a chance of them being recognised as Best in Class?

During Water Orton Carnival on 21st June, we will have 9 classes for the village’s poochies to be entered into, plus Best in Show:

  1. Prettiest bitch
  2. Handsome dog
  3. Best rescue
  4. Best veteran (over 7 years)
  5. Waggiest tail
  6. Best ears
  7. Best cross breed
  8. Friendliest dog
  9. Most appealing eyes
  10. Best in show

There will be a prize for each class winner, 2nd and 3rd (with a few special, Judge’s reserves favourites) and a trophy for Best in Show.

Each entry will be £1 per dog per class. Registration will open at 11 on Carnival Day at the Dog Show Arena and will be on a first come, first served basis.

Best in Show is open to the winner of the all classes and will judged in the Main Arena – 16.10

  • All dogs need to be on short leads (not extendable) in the ring.
  • Supported by £ounds for Hounds Fundraising Group who will also have a tombola stall to raise much needed funds …
  • Donation point for food and toys and beds
