Carnival Queen and Princesses

Jessica CollinsOur Carnival Queen for this year is Jessica Collins. She is is 11 years old and currently attends Water Orton Primary but will be going to The Coleshill School in September. We are expecting the usual variety of costumes, fancy dress and fun, so make sure you look out for us along the route between 11am and 12.45pm.

Bob Hogg Sheepdogs and Farmyard Animals
BOBATWORK

The committee welcomes the marvellous Bob Hogg to the arena, with his vibrant display that not only shows the excellent skills of the working border collies but throws in a bundle of fun for the kids and humour for the adults. Along with his dogs (Joe, Jake and Fly), Bob includes, sheep, geese, ducks and his latest addition, Paxo the chicken, in this fabulous arena show. Working through the display Bob offers a unique insight into the working life of a sheepdog and their farmyard friends. Make sure you are at the arena at 1.45pm and 3.05pm.

Circus Skills Workshop
scott-polykett

New to the Carnival for this year, the committee welcome Scott Poleykett, who will be running a Circus Workshop. Look out for his brightly coloured stall and take part in the many free activities on offer. The Circus Workshop offers children and adults the opportunity to have a go at various circus skills such as plate spinning, diabolos, fun wheel and stilt walking.
If you enjoy the activities then there will also be a chance to buy various circus bits on the day such as plates, diabolos and magic wands, to help you practice your skills at home. So if the circus life is for you why not look out for Scotty on the Field and give it a go?
