Starting at The Green, the procession will make its way through the village from around 11.00 am on Carnival day.
Important Message
In order for the procession to go ahead, certain roads within the village will be closed for a short time during a two hour period. These closures will take place at various road junctions (see map above) to allow the procession to pass through safely.
The times of these closures will take place between 11am and 1pm. Plank Lane will be closed at the earlier time of 10.30am to allow for the arrival of floats and coordinated departure on their journey.
To ensure the smooth running and safety of the Carnival procession, the Committee needs your support as a local resident.
N.B. As a local resident you will not be stopped from entering roads during the two hour period, only when the procession is about to pass.
Access will be allowed only when it is safe to do so and the rear vehicle of the procession has passed through. The committee, Warwickshire Police and Council ask for your full support and assistance in avoiding the route during these times.
Please warn visiting family and friends of slight delays likely to be experienced on the day due to temporary road closures.
