There’s plenty going on at this year’s Carnival once again and this is just a small selection so, for full details, don’t forget to pick up your programme.
Procession around the village

The theme for this year’s procession is ‘World in Motion’. We’re having a walking fancy dress procession and will be joined by some classic cars too from Coventry Classic Car Club and Coleshill Auto Breakfast Meet, so why not join in the fun? You can find out who are this year’s Royal Court here. The procession kicks off on Plank Lane opposite the school.

Water Orton Dog Show

The Dog Show is back! Enter your prized pooch to one of 9 classes with prizes for winner, 2nd and 3rd in each class. Full details here.
Main Arena Acts

We have 4 performers on stage from 1.15pm with Olivia Makepeace, Shannon the Vocalist, DeerWolf, closing with Deuces at 4.15pm. The arena will be hosted by Water Orton’s very own Terri-Anne, who presents Switch Radio’s Midweek Mosh on Wednesday evenings.
Dance Display

We welcome firm favourites Fusion of Dance to the arena at around 1.45pm who will also be entering a float once again.
Old School Sports Day

Following last year’s successful introduction of welly wanging, three-legged and egg and spoon races to the Arena, Carnival 2026’s Old School Sports Day promises to be a cracker! Supported by Centurion Running Club, we invite you to don your retro sweatbands, grab your old school plimsolls and join us for good natured rivalry and competition! We’ll provide the equipment … you bring the fun!
Children’s Craft Tent

The Children’s Craft and Activity Tent is provided by the Carnival free of charge with activities themed around the Carnival celebrations and a selection of crafts and activities for all ages.
Lots of Stalls

We have over 40 stalls around the perimeter of the field with something for everyone!

Where to park
Old Salts Rugby Club have kindly offered to provide limited free parking again this year. You can find them at the end of Coleshill Road, post code B46 1QE. Please ensure that you do not park where you will cause an obstruction for the procession around the village.
How much and how to pay
Don’t forget that admission is by programme only, these will be on sale on the day at the field entrance gates at Openfield Croft and Vicarage Lane at a cost of £4, or £3 for OAPs and one adult programme admits two children FREE. If at all possible please bring the correct change as this really helps us and speeds up the queues.
See you there!
